About
Embark was founded on the idea that preparing for standardized testing should strengthen college-readiness skills. We focus not on testing tricks that can net a couple points, but on foundational knowledge in reading comprehension, mathematics, composition, and data analysis. This has given Embark a higher average score increase than our competitors, but, more importantly, it’s given our students a stronger foundation in skills they need to succeed in college. We regularly hear back from students in college who tell us how much this preparation has helped them. We hire tutors that are engaging, funny, and smart so that our students can enjoy the process and reap greater benefit from it.
